At the same time, a growing number of cyclists are showing a preference for wheel sets with carbon spokes, which offer greater flexibility and durability.

3. LF X5 uses  Aero-grade Toray T1000 +T1100 carbon fiber materials, precision braiding and high temperature molding to create the ultimate lightweight wheelset. Every gram of weight reduction is to make you ride faster,farther and easier. 

4. LF X5 Carbon rim width with 25mm inner/ 34mm outer width,  U-shaped and wind-breaking design carbon spoke wheelset, better cruising ability and faster acceleration ; 
Available in various depth of carbon rim:  30mm/35mm/ 45mm/ 50mm/60mm can be customized.

5. The following video demonstrates the LF X5 wheelset (30mm depth) undergoing an impact test, where it withstands an impact force of up to 95J. For comparison, the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) standard impact test requires only 40J. The impact resistance of the LF X5 far exceeds the international standard, reaching approximately 2.5 times the standard value.

LF X5 Hub System: Lastest Technical Ratchet System -45T + TPI Ceramic Bearing, The Lightfast hub continue to offer full power for cyclists; With a 45T HUB, the engagement angle is only 8°, ensuring smooth operation. Compared to a 36T HUB (10°), the 45T HUB offers a tighter and more responsive engagement. Meanwhile, relative to a 54T HUB (6.7°), the engagement angle is more evenly distributed, achieving a balanced feel—neither too tight nor too loose.

7. LF X5 uses ultra light Carbon Spoke: combines the features of excellent aerodynamics with low weight and great strength; Each carbon fiber spoke is crafted through thousands of experiments.

Every latest sixth-generation LF carbon spoke weighs only 2g/pc—yes, you heard that right, which is nearly one-third the weight of steel spokes and truly astonishing! Both ends of the carbon spokes are made of black titanium alloy, ensuring even greater durability and longevity.

8. LF X5 Tyre Compatibility:

To facilitate the maintenance and care of the carbon spokes, each set of shipped carbon spokes comes pre-installed with spoke hole sealing tape. 

More importantly, we pre-install tubeless-ready tape so that customers can immediately use the wheels with either clincher tires or tubeless setups upon receiving the wheels—no need  to purchase or install tubeless tape separately. This not only helps customers save on additional costs but also marks a positive step forward in enhancing LightFast's attention to detail and service quality.

Compatible with regular clincher tyres with innertubes and tubeless -ready tyres from leading manufacturers. From 25-43C tyre; the best recommand are 25C or 28C type.

9. LF X5 High-speed CNC machine to drill all the holes on rims so they are uniform. The spoke and nipple access holes are drilled simultaneously so they match perfectly with precise angles.

10. LF X5 Rider weight limited attention: Lightfast Wheelsets have a maximum weight capacity of 110-120kgs (including Bike & Rider & Personal belongings).
